International cooperation

International cooperation is a central part of our work. We live in a globalised world, and we need to work together to improve it. Peace and human rights are the foundations of our international politics.

We influence in the Nordic countries, Europe and the world

Swedish youth of Finland’s international politics are developed by our international committee. The international committee develops our agenda by writing motions and actively participating in both European and global politics.

Swedish youth of Finland is a member of several international organisations. We are also well represented in the boards of international organisations. The Nordic cooperation is mostly managed through Nordiska Centerungdomens Förbund (Nordic Centre Youth, NCF). Furthermore Swedish youth of Finland has observer status in Nordens Liberala och radikala ungdomsförbund (NLRU). Swedish youth of Finland is also represented in the Nordic Youth Council.

In Europe Finland is a member of European Liberal Youth (LYMEC), and globally we are a member of the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY)
